My ongoing series is 'Floral Wilderness' which features paintings created using a flower stem, leaves and small pieces from an entire bouquet of flowers. Using these pieces of nature in lieu of a brush gives the artwork a feeling of controlled chaos.

I approach the paper with no ideas, only a color palette that I want to explore, and let the object I am holding in my hand guide me. The result may seem unhinged at first but is filled with beauty if you look for it. A notion that is the foundation of human existence. Our choices and our lives may look chaotic but there is undeniable beauty in it.
